En nuestro laboratorio, realizamos todos aquellas determinaciones hormonales necesarias tanto para el estudio de la fertilidad como para el seguimiento temprano de la gestación. En el estudio básico de fertilidad la determinacion hormonal entre el primer y el tercer día del ciclo menstrual es de gran valor diagnóstico, se prescriben la determinación en sangre de las siguientes hormonas: F.S.H. ( Hormona Folículo Estimulante ), L.H. ( Hormona Lutenizante), 17beta-Estradiol, Prolactina. Entre los dia 21º y 23 º del ciclo se determina la Progesterona y la Prolactina y por último el estudio de las hormonas tiroideas. T3 y TSH.
Los niveles de las hormonas hipofisarias junto con el estradiol , nos informan de la reserva folicular ovarica ( cantidad de óvulos disponibles), de importacia básica para prescribir el tratamiento adecuado de estimulación ovárica .Durante esta realizamos controles seriados de los niveles de 17-beta-Estadriol.Por último la determinación de la beta-hCG como prueba inequívoca de la presencia de gestación.

With this test we can determine the basal concentration of hormones associated with the sterility, such as, the Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH), Luteinizing hormone (LH), 17-Beta Estradiol (E-2) and Prolactin (PRL).
The state of the follicular reserve levels will allow us to diagnose the best treatment for each woman.
